This policy explains how Niche Drops handles personal information collected through this website. Niche Drops is an Australian business based in Melbourne, VIC (ABN 68 659 276 178).

What this website collects

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and does not load fonts, scripts or images from third-party services. Simply reading these pages does not create a record of your visit beyond the standard connection logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

If you send us an enquiry, we collect what you put in the form: your name, your business name if you give one, your email address, the type of enquiry, and your message.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you and to have a conversation about the work you're asking about. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are handled by the founder. We use service providers for website hosting and for delivering enquiry emails. Those providers process information on our behalf under their own terms.

To be specific about how an enquiry travels: the website itself does not store your enquiry in a database. It passes the details straight to our email provider, Brevo, which transmits them to our own mailbox. Brevo holds a record of the message in its sending logs under its own retention terms, and the email stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and keep reasonable business records.

If you contact us about a potential Niche Leads partnership, we use the information to assess and respond to that enquiry. We do not share it with other contractors or potential partners unless you have agreed or it is necessary to respond to your request.

Separate service-and-location websites may have their own enquiry-sharing arrangements. Where one of those sites is operating, its privacy notice will explain who may receive an enquiry before the visitor submits it.

AiDA and Google account data

AiDA by Niche Drops is a product in development. It is not publicly available and has no customers.

Where AiDA connects to a Google account during development, it does so only after an authorised user grants permission through Google's standard consent process, and only for the features that user is testing. Google user data accessed in this way is used solely to provide those features. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or make it available to unrelated third parties. Any use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Access can be withdrawn at any time through the user's own Google Account security settings, or by contacting us. As AiDA moves towards release, this section will be updated to describe what it actually does at that point.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. Any credentials used to connect systems during development are kept in private server-side configuration and are not published.

We keep enquiry information for as long as it's reasonably needed for the conversation it relates to and for our own business records, then delete it. In practice that means the email in our mailbox and the copy held in our email provider's sending logs, since the website itself keeps no database of enquiries.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@nichedrops.com.au and we'll action it. Some information may need to be kept where the law requires it.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy matter, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the business develops, particularly as AiDA and our lead generation work progress. The current version is always the one published here, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
